These Text Messaging Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to text messages sent by or on behalf of the Texas Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation & Dance (TAHPERD) (“TAHPERD,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
Text Messaging Program
By opting in to receive text messages from TAHPERD, you agree to receive SMS and/or MMS messages related to TAHPERD programs, services, events, membership, professional development opportunities, conferences, announcements, reminders, updates, and other organizational communications.
Messages may include, but are not limited to:
- Event and conference announcements and reminders
- Registration and deadline reminders
- Membership-related communications
- Professional development and educational opportunities
- Program and organizational updates
- Important notices and informational messages
- Other communications related to TAHPERD activities and services
Message Frequency
Message frequency may vary based on your interaction with TAHPERD, the programs or events in which you participate, and the types of communications for which you have enrolled. You may receive recurring messages periodically throughout the month, with additional messages around events, registrations, deadlines, or other time-sensitive activities.
Message and data rates may apply. Your mobile carrier’s standard messaging and data rates may apply to messages sent or received through the TAHPERD text messaging program.
Opt-Out and Help Instructions
| STOP You may opt out of receiving TAHPERD text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from us. After you send STOP, you may receive a one-time confirmation message confirming that you have been unsubscribed. Your continued participation in the text messaging program after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.
